Greg Gaffney - Marketing Director
Greg Gaffney joined Home Learning College in November 2004.
Dynamic, entrepreneurial and ambitious, Greg has over 14 year's marketing and advertising experience. This spans a diversity of business and consumer service sectors including Financial Services, eCommerce, Technology and Healthcare.
With Home Learning College, Greg saw the opportunity to further his outstanding leadership, commercial and strategic expertise. His responsibilities within the business cover all aspects of marketing and advertising, including prospect generation, channel and brand development, strategic partnerships, product development and market research.
Prior to joining the company he was Marketing Director for Learning Tree International, a B2B IT training provider. During the two years he held this role, Greg established Learning Tree (a company floated on the New York stock exchange, NASDAQ) as the UK market leader. This was achieved through the development of innovative multi-channel, on-line and off-line direct marketing, advertising, brand and telesales programmes.
Greg's career started at the Sun Alliance Insurance Group, where he helped establish their first direct to consumer business operation. Subsequent roles followed at PPP healthcare and also at Service Corporation International where he set up and ran their UK direct marketing operation. At VNU Greg was part of the management team that developed and implemented the brand launch and ongoing commercial strategy for the media group's eCommerce venture, newmonday.com.
He is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM).
